Subject: Final Presentation of your Projects
When: Check the Class Schedule
ALL STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND
Please follow the general guidelines as follows.
1. Groups need to use overhead/slide projector to present your work
in 20-25 minutes and question/answers for 5-10 minutes. In any
case no more than 30 minutes will be allowed. Please plan your
timing by practicing beforehand.
2. All the members in a group must present so that the individual
can be graded for presentation.
3. Format for presentation:
Assume that the audience is technically competent.
- Start with original proposal, highlight key issues.
- Discuss how the problem was approached.
- What were your steps in progress, observation.
(if applicable use block diagrams and detailed diagrams to
explain your point)
- Present results of any experiment with your prototype. The
emphasis is more towards experimental results of your work
for grading purposes.
- Conclusion.
4. Demonstation must be done as follows.
- Should be planned to complete within 15 minutes.
(Projects with outdoor activities may take more time)
- Must provide a sheet(s) of operating instructions where
applicable.
- Any member can be asked to explain your project.
(We decide on the demo schedule during your presentations)
5. Documentation: The final project report may be in a thesis style
having following items.
- Cover page with title, year/semester, students' names, advisor's name
- Acknowledgements if any
- Table of Contents
- Abstract (one page only)
- Chapters: 1. Introduction, 2., 3., ...
Last Chapter:Results & Discussions.
6. Provide copies of your code and datasheets as appendices.
7. Must also turn in electronic copy of above report. For detail
style, contact your TA.
